Germina
Germina — Magazine of Literature & Art is edited by writers Mariza Lourenço and Silvana Guimarães, being online since 2005. Its quarterly publication is non-for-profit and maintained solely by its editors’ financial resources. It publishes poems, short stories, chronicles, novel passages, translations, essays, reviews, interviews, e-books. It keeps sections of erotic poetry, verbivocovisual poetry, visual arts, photography, drama, music, cinema and special reports. It counts on fifteen permanent columnists, and its primary purpose is to disseminate literature, enabling an ongoing closer relationship among the writers — mainstream or not — and their public. It is engaged in stimulating critical debate and in revealing talented artists that would strive to be acknowledged otherwise. It has an archive of over 800 Brazilian authors and some foreign ones. Its constantly updated blog named “Classificados” is accessible for launchings, artistic and literary events release: http://germinaliteratura.blog.uol.com.br/.
